As sandals go, Ren is a strong one. Inspired by steel-capped workboots, her sharp-cornered rubber toe caps extend far beyond the welt of the outsole for an assertive statement finish. The ultra-thin curved heel stands in opposition to this angularity, sitting just below a rear loop with contrast edging. Ren's straps are formed from two-tone leather—tumbled burgundy on the outer with a smooth, bright blue inner. The same bright blue finish is applied to the breathable vegetable tan cow leather insole and to the rubber toe and heel caps protecting the leather sole.
